8 SS/ German belt buckles- any originals in there?

Hi all,

I was recently offered a collection, and have been posting it up here in sections all over the forum, trying to determine if items were real. The results have been bad so far (100% fake) so I'm basically assuming these are fake also. Could anyone give me a heads up, and tell me why they real/fake? I have serious doubts about all of them spare the freikorps and RAD (even then, why are they RZM marked? ) The seller paid top dollar for these at auction and antique stores, so there is someone in the Alberta area distributing large quantities of fakes to unsuspecting buyers.

Really BAD fakes (all 8)......these shouldn't fool ANYBODY... they aren't even close! A fool and his money are soon parted! Save yours!!!!!

Oh boy, he was really convinced they were originals- I wish crooks didn't exist but they obviously do, now I have to tell him , its funny because the collection contains many original rare Canadian badges and medals, but there are so many fakes that I think it wasn't properly researched before items were purchased, rather on the assumption they were real because of the person who sold them.

Stu..A blind man could tell these are REALLY bad fakes. Literally! Anyone willing to pay top dollar for WW2 German collectables has a responsibility to buy a book or two first.

The quality of these would be the first clue. These just scream fake by the look of them. Zink junk metal. The list goes on for pages after that but suffice it to say these are sold every day around the World..not just in Alberta. You can see them on eBay every day of the week.
