Earlier fakes were cast, so they have dark grey color, porous surface, parting line on the edge and air bubbles left over from casting process. Your is one of them. Later fakes however are die stamped and are very close. They have right color and lack casting telltales.
Many originals have circle around markings left over from stamping the markings. Earlier stamped fakes didn't have it and I don't know if latest ones have it or not.
Best would be comparing known original to buckle in question and crosschecking all details, especially how the catch is attached to the buckle.
