      It is good and a very tough one piece molded buckle to find. I have seen very few of this design over the years.

        To add to the above comments, this buckle appears to have the dark burnish that was used for fire related services.
        Interested in the Gendarmerie - Schutzpolizei - Gemeinden - Feuerschutzpolizei - Wasserschutzpolizei - Etc. Looking For Anything Polizei Related!
