    Help I.D. Navy buckle

I was wondering if somone could please help me I.D. this Navy buckle? I am not sure from what country or time period it is from or if it is original/reproduction. It looks to be on the crude side by way of construction and the set in dirt makes me think this may have been dug. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks for checking it out!

          Hi
I can't say if it is a original, fake or fantasy item, but what might be a good idea is to start a thread on the International Forum and see what comes of it,just a thought.

              Hello,
This is an old cast brass buckle, not a fake. Bulgaria and Turkey both used this method for their buckles, although the lack of a crown or crescent may indicate some other country.
              Hope this helps.
