Heer JFS buckle, feedback wanted

Gents, love to have some feedback on this J.F.S. marked and 1942 dated buckle.

Been told this buckle was for tropical use ? Whats the value ?

why tropical ? because of the light green color ? the color of each heer buckle depends on the makers and for each maker , it depends on the paint supplies.

so many, many different colors for heer buckles..

just a standart Heer buckle, but beautiful
