    A slightly odd and probably early period, one piece SA.

    Apart from displaying an eagle with a head that looks remarkably like a Teradactyl, the convex roundel is particuarly proud and pronounced - possibly a never worn buckle.

          That is a nice buckle. It does look early -- it seems to have a steel prong assembly that has been brazed on, a feature usually seen on some WWI buckles. Early NSDAP eagles often looked more like hens than fierce eagles. The large cap badge on the early leather crash helmets is a particularly lame example.
