Silver painted, two piece zinc rather than aluminium (larger lettering and smaller swastika type of design).

H J - two piece construction

I have mentioned or rather suggested to Chad on a PM basis that the HJ two piece construction and HJ Marine buckles, by anyones definition, are exceedingly rare.

Although never having seen a two piece HJ in the flesh (other than the DJ to HJ "morph"), I am sure they exist and as a teaser, examples are shown in both the Angolia and Nash tomes. Of course not a definative and perhaps, a suggestion of their lurking in the shadows? Hope so !

Of course, David, the HJ/DJ conversion is a well documented original. Just had a leaf through the Angolia book, but didn't find a picture of a two-piece HJ. Will only be getting my copy of Nash next week-end, so couldn't check that one.

Generally, I suppose anything's possible, but I just dunno... Anyway, I'd surely love it if someone could post pictures of this elusive buckle.
