Early nickelsilver SS EM buckle, unmarked GZM?, Fake?

I recently bought this buckle in the Estand, the eagle is very similar to the GZM buckles but it is unmarked, it is made of a nonmagnetic metal, it is heavy, and has a strange brown patina but it does not seem to be dug up, the catch it seems to be repaired and has a weird streaks on its surface
    Unmarked GZM? Fake?
I am interested very much in your opinions
    Thanks
    Iván

                  Thanks PHIL, but see: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...&highlight=Gzm

The same die mark on the eagle's left wing root

It is an original GZM with ground down marking. The remaining question is when was it ground down? Before of after 1945??
I have a stone mint like this and always thought it was done recently to remove a "bothering" marking... But when you bought your there was also another one with again the marking erased. So, maybe, it was done before 1945. But until I can put my hands on one which is ground down and unconditionnaly from pre-1945 origins I will still tend to believe it was done within the last 15 years.

                              Thanks Scrooge
Thanks Jean Pierre, but why remove the marking within the last 15 years?
