Until today, I have never found an excellent example of a 1936 dated Heer buckle out of the woodwork. In two decades, I only think I have only found a couple 1936 buckles, and they were were well-worn examples.
My retirement was sentenced to death today in the stock market, but at least I scored this rig. The belt is original to the buckle and dated 1938 on the leather and 1938 on the hook as well. The belt is awesome and barely worn too.
