HJ m4/38 buckle

Hello,

does anyone have a HJ buckle marked rzm m4/38?Im intereted in a picture of the maker mark.Im interested in seeing this because ive seen 2 versions of this maker mark.my buckle the 3 is curved on top,and on the other example the top of the 3 was flat.

Hello Yancy,
I have a third version of the M4/38 maker mark. It is of the usual aluminium manufacture with small raised RZM in double circle (crossed Z) and raised M4/38 (Richard Sieper & Sohne). The difference is that the 38 has obviously been hand engraved onto the original die/mold. Maybe the original contract number was reassigned? The buckle is original and was purchased in the early 70s with a small-size blue webbed belt -- flak helper perhaps?
I will have to borrow my friend's digital camera and send some pics. I hope this info is of some use.

thanks for the input,im curious to see your buckle Kevin.heres the pictures of mine,I got it only a few years back from Austria,its pretty beat up but i like it anyways and never had a problem with it untill i saw that other aluminum HJ m4/38 buckle with a different style 3.<br><br>

.Hello, I have looked in my collection and there are indeed at least 3 different markings on this buckle. All 3 have been already described above.
I will try to post some pictures of the 3 markings in the next days.

Id like to see your HJ buckles when you get the chance.Any thoughts on my NSBO buckle,I finally had time to post a few pictures let me know if you need some better ones.
