Axis Allies: Bulgarian EM/NCO Buckle

If all goes well, JP will post pics of one of these, which i just ordered. They are rarely seen in the US, if Ebay is any indication. Unlike most Euro "other ranks" buckles of the period, these are made by a casting process. The buckle is brass, with a steel belt loop & an inytegral hook catch in typical East Euro configuration.

The example of this buckle which i saw on Ebay appeared to be cast in white metal, & the design was crudely done. The back was not shown. Assuming it to have been a fake, counterfeits don't seem to exist in any large numbers.

This can be considered a "sleeper" among Axis buckles - certainly much scarcer than German SS!
