Hello my friend, it's good to see you here in this capacity.
I'm still around been a bit ill but I log on from time to time.
I couldn't think of anyone more quailified openminded and willing to learn and share than you.
I'll stop by once in awhile to discuss an SS enlisted alum. 155/39 from time to time

Thanks Paul for your kind words, and I sincerely hope you are going to feel better soon.
You will be pleased to find also here Marc Verstraete, Karl Ortmann and Bill Xanten among others sharing the task to bring this forum to a peak level. All together, I strongly believe we can succeed. The forum start was better than anticipated and I was gladely surprised by the knowledge already here. With everyone effort and integrity we can now have the forum dedicated to German buckles we were expecting.

Note: In the SS Buckle Forum which is now working in harmony with this one, starting early June, I will run another intensive photo comparison between a fake aluminum SS Officer buckle from East Europe marked 36/39 and a real one. As with the fake 155/39, it will be first like a game or a "test" (open to anyone) where around ten close up details will be compared one after one every two days. Participating members will have to tell which buckle is the genuine one and which one is the fake. At the end of the test, everything will be explained in details. It would be interesting if you could like the other time participate.

    Best Regards
    Jean Pierre Redeuilh
