White Parade Belt LSSAH value ??

    Hi at all,

If you had a original white Parade Belt ( without buckle ) worn by members of 1. Kompanie LSSAH in good condition and with stamping - " A. Fischer, Berlin C2, 1937, L.SS A.H. What would it be worth on todays market if its a real one ?

    Any help is very welcome.

    Bests Jens

Jens! Be careful when you announce such items… Some of us will need to take pills!

"What would it be worth on todays market if its a real one ?"

This is the question!!!!! A handful of fakes have surfaced a couple years ago in the US and Europe. They are made with original police belts and other ietems probably comming from manions the year before.
The where sold a real by at least three dealers for the amount going from 1500$ to 3500$ (Wittman). They where in there card board box, with cross strap, (fake) buckle, One had a bayonet holder included; the other one had a sword hanger included. The one for 1500$ was sold to a believer, the 3500$ one is still for sale if i'm not mistaken.
Is your belt an EM or an officer? The value will depend on the personal finances of the buyer and how badly he wants the thing. If the set from Wittman was real and you break it down into separate pieces. For example: Buckle 350 /500, belt 1000, cross strap 1000, sword holder 1000, I would say anything between 500$ and 1500$ for the belt………..

    Pictures maybe??

At firts many many thanks for your great informations. They helped a lot.
Its really hard for me to recognize such a rare item as an original, because i had no item seen to compare with.

Hello all, I hereby post the pictures for Jens.

The pictures being of very low resolution I have problems making a definite opinion. It looks like the belt has been hand coloured white but the detail picture shows that the belt was apparently factory painted. The absence of RZM and SS markings that should be there for such items is strange. I like the factory marking tough. The belt is real, the factory marking looks OK. Police for sure! But SS ??
Are there ANY other markings on this belt Jens? Is the catch made of Aluminium? Any markings on the catch?

            Hello,

Thanks to Marc for posting the Pics. Unfortunality the only i got from the Seller. I quest for some better Pics and now i wait for them. Ok, as you said it is at first a police Belt. But why is there only L.SS A.H. marking and not a special name of the Unit like 1. Komp. or Ers. Abt. or others like that. There is only the LSSAH, is that common.
What do you think is the LSSAH stamped before they colored it white or after ?

            Thx Jens
