Two SS Buckles - One Good and the Other...?

I just picked up this pair in a group of buckles, and feel good about the green RODO, but am pretty sure the other is bad. I just wanted the green one, and bought the group pretty sure that the nicklle specimen was post-war.

Hello Robert,

The green Rodo is a very good catch. Hard to find one with this amount of paint on the front !

As you thought, the second one is a fake, I believe the Oliver Tony one from the 70s but the odd markings (OT in a diamond and his phone number) have been removed to make it look better.

So you did you homework well and no surprise on the result.

Would you plan to sell the Rodo one? Hey just a joke...
