Why no chance to be wartime, I do not think this piece has ever been unwrapped. I once bought several Luftwaffe daggers in cellophane bags and
I have one around here somewhere, it feels like the same material with a adhesive on one side. But I have seen other stuff in cellophane bags, that was orignal period and never touched from the factory. I understand that this is not a bag, but why not period, And what are other opinions on this.
Simon, I appreciate your input, I would just like a reason for your thoughts and whether or not it is original still does not take away from a mint web belt.
I always struggle to call these belts DAK, becuase I do not believe they were just used in Africa.
