RAD & HJ Buckles, help with Makers.

The HJ is well worn buckle. The maker mark all but gone. Just the 2 is present. The RAD Buckle has what looks like a A and 38 mark on the inside. Any help on the makers would be appreciated.

RAD - F. W. Assmann und Söhne of Lüdenscheid
