A lot of late war buckles were painted a blue-black color. You can't really call it a KM buckle unless it had a KM marked tab. Kirby

Thank you for your opinions. I agree. Nearly impossible to tell, and most likely not worth the $200 leap of faith to look into it. I appreciate your help.
