pre war officer's belt request

I have come across an interesting item and picture recently and I would like to know if it existed a pre-war model of officer's belt.

The belt I have seen was described as such and coming from Austria. It could be seen also in a copy portrait the seller included. Any information about that belt?

here's a better scan of the picture.

the belt comes from Austria and it resembles some WW1 belts too. I was tempted and I bought it because it looks period to me.
Could it be a pre-war belt from the Dreyfuss period utilised later on? I've seen austrian gebirgsjäger with other equipment from the mid '30's.
