    Army 1936 Nickel Buckle

This is a nickel one piece pebbled buckles. The catch is Brass. No markings on the Buckle. The leather tab is marked Steinhauer & Luck. The back looks like it hase a gray/green paint.

I can not find it in any book. So do not know what the resale value would be. I welcome any comments.

    Hello Fred,

the buckle is a well known period pattern

I will let someone else comment about market value.

I won't comment about value but that's a really interesting buckle that I would like to have in my collection.

May have been worn in the spanish civil war, before they stopped the use of nickled buckles and went to aluminum. I'd say you'd be able to name your price on one like that, but if you were wise... you'd keep it . Be hard pressed to ever find another like it these days ...like a needle in a haystack. Thanks for showing it. Looks like its been worn a lot also.
