    Which Branch ....

I would like to ask forum members which branch of the German armed forces will interest you the most. In other words, which kind of German buckle do you want we try to talk about (LW, WH, KM, DRK, SS, SA, HJ....) ??
Your answer will help us to elaborate the next subject so please do not be shy.

    Regards
    Jean Pierre Redeuilh

JP, i'd like to see material on the less common Imperials. A large & interesting (yet very neglected!) field. These are some of the most beautiful of German buckles. I'd also like to see coverage of other Central Powers & Axis Allies buckles. Some WWII Axis buckles, like the Bulgarian, are still practically unknown. Some were actually German-made, like the RSI box buckles.

      Hello frentebro,

I will in the near future post some articles on imperial and foreign buckles. Like you I think that those buckles are by far the most beautiful German buckles made. Unfortunately, I cannot post pictures and don’t know how to be able to do so. What buckle would you like to discus first??

Tres bien, Marc! Right now i'm most curious about the WWI Bulgarian EM buckle; i've seen only one, on Ebay, but it was so crude i doubt it was original...if you don't have that, anything will do! Scarce M-47s, RSIs, GNRs, aluminum Austrian, Baltic states, you name it!

Luft buckles, including officer's versions. I'd like to see the web tabbed buckles. If you want to e-mail the photos to me at luftwaffefeld@cs.com, I'd be happy to post them.

                    Gene's beltbuckles (front)

I'm posting these for Gene. Gene, it was my pleasure to see these pieces first. They are great. I'm after the blue web one to add to my web belt. But, all are right up there in their lust factor.

I would have reduced them in size, but it was just too good an opportunity to see the details in stitching on these without having the opportunity to hold them in my hands. Again, thanks alot Gene. Some great buckles.

                          Gene ,
I have a 1935 buckle w/droop tail, w/crank catch . Tab is marked Springer & Co Berlin 1935. I also have the white, blue, green and blue w/green tabs and a blue w/blue tab and blue webbed belt in my collection. All very rare buckles. Pics of these buckles are on the German buckle forum.
