Need help with leather equipment belt

Hello,

I have been offered a leather equipment belt that looks like it is WW2. The owner says he is liquidating some of his fathers WW2 bring back items. According to him, this belt was with a marked Waffen S.S. belt buckle, holster, and bayonet I think. However, it appears to be modified a bit. Can anyone tell if this is original wW2 or post war German? Thanks!

The belt hook has been restitched onto the belt.....and it is now the wrong way round. Will need better photos to advise if the rest is WWII or not.

Look at the keeper....it's a fake belt all the way.....not just restitched! Whoever is trying to sell it is a B>S> artist....avoid him!

Thank you everybody. When I saw that the keeper had been turned upside down and restiched, it raised a flag. What kind of monster is this belt? BW?
