Early SS Belt Buckle for Review

This buckle looks like an original to me, but I would appreciate the buckle sages taking a look and letting me know. It came on a heavy belt that is marked BA Bn and a number under the tongue, and this belt was on it during the war.

I have one of these that was polished up (I think it's the same maker, at least), but I like the salty patina on this one.
