    NSKK and swastica buckles

    Hi Guys

Got these and would very much value some input on them- I have looked through the past threads and found an NSKK of same construction that was deemed good so I have high hopes for that one. The swaz buckle is othing I've ever seen- so called Kampfzeit buckle perhaps?

    Many thanks

    Patrick

      buckles

Hello I passed on a NSKK buckle like this at the Maxx show in 08 for $550. I gave David North the info on the dealer and I think he bought the buckle. I liked that one better than yours because of the lower solder work. If your gets a I might be interested. Kirby

        Hello Patrick,

looking at the NSKK I do not see red flags, the way of construction is similar to known originals and the box appears a well known period pattern.
I do not comment the Swastika one as it's the first one for me, but I like it.

        Best

The NSKK is definitely a good buckle and I would say the same for the other as well.

Has anyone ever seen a period photo with such a NSKK buckle in wear? Or does any period source exist showing evidence that this buckel design existed? Thanks for any information!

I believe there is a picture of the NSKK buckle in wear in the French-language book by Catella. I don't have it on hand, though.

To me also ... like ... a lot.
Particular, and never seen, the second. Congratulations.
