Well, not quite...but someone might try to pass this rig off as one! I'm referring to the Bundeswehr 35 x 50mm blank pebbled nickle trouser buckle with bordered black enamelled leather belt that have come on the surplus market lately in relatively small numbers. The buckle is the traditional box type, but with a pivoting adjustable "toothed" US-style adjustment piece, marked OLC in a lozenge cartouche. It has an integral hook catch which mates with a brass-riveted nickle keeper, also OLC-marked.
Interestingly, the belt is backmarked 6 91 1937 B, a lot or inventory mark which would really help in passing it off as 3rd Reich! The belts are also size marked in the traditional manner. Don't buy one of these sets as Legion Condor, but for a few bucks they're nice quality pieces to wear on the street.
