    My new SS buckle

I got this from a gentleman who got it after his grandfather passed away. Gramps had it on display all these years, with some other misc from his service. I am comfortable with it, but want some more info on it and additional blessing. A collector friend said it is an early one, but that is all I really know.

It is ane early Overhoff Luedenscheid with full Name Stamp from the mid 30´s... Normally just stamped "O&C".. The Material is "Neusilber", Nickel.. Very Nice, I like it

    Best Regards

            He kept the non-nazi items.

Chance encounter. Proves every dog has a good day eventually. Of course he shook me down for all my rent money. but it's easier to get money then an SS buckle, right?

What are the dark "stains" on the front? Does this buckle still have the silver paint? Looks like it in the photo. That would suggest a buckle that was unissued or at least it saw very little use. Nice find.

Not sure, something accidentally splashed onto it later. it doesn't come off with gentle fingernail.

Vet was a corp of engineers guy served in Africa and Italy.
