Untouched SS Rodo and web belt !!!

I wished to share these pictures with the forum as such a items will soon only exist in the memory of the "old" guy's

I have this set in my collection for many many years, since I found it in a barn near Martelange during my battle of the bulge "dug" years end of the 70's.

I never cleaned it except for the front of the buckle. I waxed it to let the details of come out and to stop any further rust.

This one comes from east germany not long after the wall went down.

Hi Marc, very very Nice! But why going back to the 1970´s? I found this one a few Years ago in a Barn I´ve visited during a "Open for Sale Visiting" of an old House with Barn and Land that was for Sale after the Dead of an old Woman. The old Lady lived there a lifetime. It was in the middle of a heavy fighting and Capitulation Area..
So there is still hope that we "old Guys" can make "fresh finds" again
