    First Buckle Help

    Hi gents. This is my first buckle. It is a ground-find in near Wroclaw (Breslau). It's a one-piece and it's quite heavy. Can anyone give me some info on it? - I have looked on the net and I believe it's 1930's and not WW1. Possibly it was worn during the war. They do find buckles like this in Russia.

      It's a Reichswehr buckle I believe. Have a look at those shown in this link...

          Definitely a Reichscheer EM buckle in nickel/silver. Probably why it survived in such nice shape.
          These were also used to some extent in the early years of WWII by the Wehrmacht.
