Is this a wartime officer's belt with claw buckle?

I received this belt with a group of WWII items some time ago. I don't have any experience with anything other than the enlisted belts commonly found with the steel and aluminum buckles. I also did not recognize the maker maker ( A "D" in a "house" shape)

A fellow forum member is interested in this belt IF it is determined to have the characteristics of wartime production.

Please take a look and let me know what you think. I can also submit additional photos if required.

Im beginning to think period ones of these dont exist as noone seems to know anything EVER bout these besides that they are usually post 45 police.So anyone HAVE A REAL ONE?Or is this one ok?Hard to believe noone ever knows anything about these.

I think we will get more answers at teh DDR section then they can rule it out as that or Bundeschwar or Police.

I am inclined to think this is a bundes police belt & buckle,which in the past I have had,they allways seem 'chunky' in contruction.
On another note,a dealer friend sold me a bundes grenzschutz claw buckle and belt dated 1964,but on the way home I noticed a worn rzm M5/71 olc marking on the buckle,either they used up old stocks or reused the mold.I don't think my friend has still forgiven me for that,he would charged extra had he known at the time
