    Heer belt and buckle

I bought this a year or so ago. This is correct right (not a repro)? The belt I'm pretty sure is correct, marked "Something, Berlin, 1937". Couldn't find much for marks on the buckle.
    Thanks,
    Rich

        I agree, it's a good buckle.

I've seen several pictures of buckles with a "dotted" surface. This one however is flat and completely smooth in the surface. Are there variations of genuine buckles, some with smooth surface and some with "dotted"?

            Hello P08,
yes usually Heer aluminiun buckles have a dotted ("pebbled") surface, instead the steel ones have a smooth surface as the buckle in this thread.

            Greetings

              As Brus said,

Aluminium have the dotted surface,Steel is smooth.

Also notice steel buckles normally have a welded on catch and aluminium buckles have the catch as an integral part of the body of the buckle.
