Opinions needed on a SS EM buckle

I have had this W-SS buckle for several years but have never had it checked before. Is it any good? It is unmarked as far as I can see.

Are there any other opinions on the buckle? I got it from a SS collector that I respect and he still believes that it’s a good one. So it would be great with more opinions before I return it.

Ivan is quite correct buckle is 1000000% fake !

The buckle itself is for sure a bad quality fake.

But it has been improved by a rather convincing paint job. The aging of that paint is very well done giving the buckle a been there look that could fool easily untrained eyes.

That buckle will never be original, it is an older fake before they started makeing the newer generation of fakes hence the aged look.
