    Imperial Gott Mit Uns buckle

    Hello all,

I just came across this one today. I believe it is marked on the tabe "KANITZBERG ORAUDENZ 1915" does anyone have an idea if this is correct?

I believe the Imperial buckles are worth less than their Third Reich cousins, correct?
Please let me know either way. Thank you.

William, leather tabbed WW1 buckles are more desirable than untabbed buckles imo, especially when you have nice maker markings & dated like this one shown, if the price is right buy it, these are worth a little less than a ww2 EM buckle

          Hello there,

These are my photos and I have the buckle in hand but I can't figure out the stamp all that well. I am not into Imperial stuff and I was going to move this onto the e-stand if I could figure out a decent price to ask for it.

William, the name "Kanitzberg" makes sense, but the city is more likely Graudenz / Pommern (nowadays Poland).

The buckle itself is a desirable two-piece M15 type, so that there should be no problems to find a buyer.

            Regards,
            Guido
