picked up today- 155/43 buckle and a couple other things

picked up a buckle today, im wondering what you guys can teach me about it.

155/43 - does the 43 mean 1943 ? and would this be all aluminum ? i assume it once had a nice chrome finish to it.

what would be the value of one in this shape ?







i also picked up a cool magazine. "DER SCHULUNGSBRIEF"

"the ( what ) briefing" ???





dated 1942 on the top right. Berlin, IX. JAHRGANG on the top left. bottom- Herausgeber: DER REICHSORGANISATIONSLEITER DER NSDAP.

My German is only as good as it gets from watching "DownFall"

also got this lighter- just a novelty but would the circle suggest its Japanese ?

your buckle is indeed original and in beautiful condition, steel made by Assmann in 1943 and factory finished that way.
