    A slightly unusual "Front Heil" buckle in nickle silver.

      Hi David, that is a nice design buckle, but as I know nothing about them you will have to tell me what it is that is unusual about it

        Hello Adrian

        Good question !

        The overwhelming majority of this definative design buckle are one piece brass or a brass box with a nickle silver or silver wash inset/ roundel, affixed by two solder points.

        Single stamp nickle silver does appear somewhat different.
