    SA buckles

This may seem a silly question, but what is with the buckle on the bottom which appears to be backwards / upside down.. ?

I simply think the rondel came off and it was re-soldered on upsidedown.

The obvious amount of solder on the reverse shows its been re-attached.

I have one that had the same resoldering done , mine however was put on the correct side up.

By the pics I'd dismiss the one in the middle, although I do not like prongs of the bottom one neither.

Prongs sure do look shiny now that I'm looking at em. Hmm

I dont think its the shine of the prongs.Originals will be found with nickel plating.

I think the cut of the prongs is what Ric is referring to.

Referring to the bottom buckle, a close-up taken like this one would help :

                      Thanks

By new pics I have to rectify my first sight opinion : bottom buckle prongs look period.

To reassume the buckle in the middle is the only one not original.

                      Regards
