Tropical Heer EM with web tab

Hello folks,
Shortly before the SOS Show I bought from my friend this buckle along with its worn tropical belt (no scans yet of the belt).

My friend was given this by his next door neighbor in 1979. The US vet had served in Italy during WWII.

Since I had always liked it my friend let me have it (for a small sum) before we left for the SOS.

I thought the buckle and belt would go nicely with this cap (it was originally obtained from a US guard that served at the Papago Park POW Camp in Phoenix, AZ).

The eagle was replaced post-war. The original eagle was removed in the camp after May 8, 1945.

It's a very nice buckle but the cap is still a lot nicer.
