WH buckle

Hi

Why is the buckle of the manufacturer Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid and the skin is manufacturer Dr. Franke & Cie., KG Lüdenscheid?

Because it has been post war assembled.

WWII buckles should always have leather tab stamped from the same manufacturer as the buckle.

It was not the same for WWI buckle because tabs were made by a leather goods maker and added to the buckle made by a buckle maker.
