    The leather tab is not original to the buckle.
    It was indeed restitched in the wrong side.

      Genuine good condition Alu KM buckle made by RS&S, What are the markings on the leather tab, can you show a photo?

        Nice buckle. The tab is the wrong direction but the size and shape of the stamp looks correct for RS&S.
