    Buckle with question!

    Ciao a tutti.
    This is my last find.
I think that this one is a nice and original example.
My question is about the remaining color......the question is: those dark color signes are just the remaining color or just oxidation / dirt accumulated over the years?
    Thanks for help, Giancarlo.

          Ciao Giancarlo,

after 70 and more years they are probably both present, but the dark appearance is mainly due to the factory finish.

Ric, another question...the rear side is not very well defined for my eyes....is this a problem?
Always a problem for me this detail, remember the DAK discussed on WW?
              Thanks for your help.

No, it's not a problem : to say one, Dransfeld is well known for his buckles (by alu) reverse lacking details and he's not alone.

Nice buckle with generous amount of remaining paint.

Question about this buckle; it has a Sieper stamped tab but the reverse of the buckle is not marked R.S.&S.

Have you already seen that ?

Is the buckle itself typical of Sieper one?
