Hi guys,i just got this from ebay so should have in a couple of days but can anybody tell me why the LBAS ,i have only seen LBA marked ones, cheers Dave

I have got the exact twin of this one, with the same Stamp.

The "S" at the end means the town of Stutgart I think.

Hello Dave -

Very nice buckle indeed! As stated already by Simon, the intitials LBAS is the acroynym for Luftwaffe Bekleidungs Amt, or Luftwaffe clothing depot and the S is for Stuttgart depot. You will also see some stamped LBAB for the Berlin depot.
