Tropical Luftwaffe Buckle, or is it?

Could this buckle possibly be a tropical issue?


As you can see it's a very dull grey-green; almost the same as the DAK buckle pictured alongside the other buckles for colour comparison sake.


The lufty is marked HA42. No point showing the front since all the paint has been buffed off. It's a shame to think someone has ruined a good green LW tropical buckle if this is in fact what it is.

So experts, what do you reckon?

Yes it can be a tropical one. H.A. did some tropical buckles : green with a green web tab or a leather tab.

The buckle in question is your standard green date H.A. without the web tab.
