    Late war unmarked SS buckles.

    Hi,
This is a question regarding the difference in thickness of the steel used in the unmarked Overhoff SS EM's buckles. Are the early war unmarked Overhoff SS buckle's steel thicker, than the steel used in making the later war Overhoff SS buckles, and if this is indeed the case, when was the thinner steel first used?

    Thanks,
    Fergus.

I do not believe unmarked Overhoff were made before 1943. So, should not be big difference.
