    is this army buckle original?

    Hello forum...

    I got this buckle in the mail yesterday along with other items.

    The buckle rubs me the wrong way... in that it has "red rust" to the back.

    I was old red rust indicates it occured recently... and often is used to age reproductions?

          your feeling is correct : the buckle is a well known repro.
