    RS&S buckle with fake tab

    On the site of RK (Ruben Keulers) Militaria I saw the following buckle. A gold odinized aluminium RS&S buckle with a very od leather tab. The buckle itself is original, but the tab in my opinion is a fake.

    RS&S was the only company who made this golden aluminium buckle. On the leather tab is visible Berlin. The name of the company can not be red. The firm of RS&S (Richard Sieper & Sohne) was situated in Ludenscheid. Also the fact that after 1942 no leather tabs were added to buckles. The eagle stamping is also strange.

    The buckle is priced €499 euros. I notified the dealer that there was something wrong with this buckle. The leather tab was not correct. But, no reaction. The buckle comes with a lifetime guarantee Take a look at the photos I added.
