    Luftwaffe Belt buckle opinions please.

    Hello all,

I would like to get opinions on this buckle please. I was told it was a reproduction. I thought it it was an original unmarked Assman Buckle when I listed it. Maybe I was wrong?

    Thanks for your help.

OK, here are some others pics. I m not sure of the weldings, they are really ugly, is it normal??
          And prongs are really shinny.
I hope that will not change your opinions!

And to compare with another Assmann 1941 worn.

No, my opinion does not change : the heat produced by spot welding may deform catch feet that way.
The prongs are by steel nickeled and their condition is what I expected on an unissued buckle.

Ric is absolutely correct in his remarks. Nice original Assmann Luft buckle.

                Hello,
I m pleased of your opinions, cause I bought this buckle and a "friend" say me that's a chinese copy, so I was doubting.

I m happy to own this buckle.

Keep the buckle and send back your friend

He gave you a bad advice.
