Which army is this buckle found in Stalingrad from?

Hi fellow forum members. Could anybody help me identify this buckle dug up in Stalingrad? Is it Italian or Romanian? It's the first time I see one like this...

    Thanks in advance!

Nobody has any idea about this? This buckle found in Stalingrad is quite weird. I hope somebody could help me, because I have never seen such a buckle... And I'm really curious about it... Hungarian, Croatian, Russian (the star is not the communist star), or Romanian maybe? Those were the armies who fought in Stalingrad apart from Germany.

Yes Kapitein, that's what I thought. Something related to Jews, but I don't know if any free jewish brigade saw action in Stalingrad (at least I haven't heard of any). You're right about the star. It has 6 points, like the jewish star. Maybe it was worn by a civilian... Who knows who was the man who wore that belt buckle. A mystery... Something to do research on.
