SS Buckles Enlisted Men. To me the nickel one is original. How is it with the steel buckle ?

Hello Peter,
Don't ask me how I was able to pass on your inquiry since I did it, but I still don't know how...

Anyway, both SS buckles are original, the steel Overhoff (RZM 36/42 SS) and the early nickel silver one (O&C ges.gesch.). None of the reproductions are like that.

One can notice both above fakes are made using the exact same die, which is totally different when we are dealing with original SS Buckles (dies are different even made from the same maker: Overhoff)
