Sorry, Greg : it's a molded fake

As a note the original ones were die struck, not iniection molded.

Hi Ric,,,does that mean the one in Angolias book on page 214 top right corner is fake also ???? its says ...( Molded SS buckel with raised RZM ( doulbe ring) 36/40 and SS ( double ring ).......??...Bowerman credited Item....thanks Greg

Oh also there one on Peter whamons site collectors Guild same 36/40 that has sold,,,just saw it, molded alum like mine and Angolias,,,,,,now Im confused,,,lol,,,let me know,,thanks Greg

No, it does simply mean that their descriptions are proven wrong.

The iniection molded buckles indeed existed, but you usually recognize them by a flat back.
