    Fake Assmann Heer buckle?

    Hello,

saw this: Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid 1941. I do not want to obtain it, but just want to show and check if I have learnt something yet. I think it is repro because of the feet of the catch and the head of the rivet that holds the catch. Also the tongue looks suspicious. Am I correct?

      Hi Johannes,
Tab looks to be added, but looks real.

I thought I saw a similar one to this. Same color. Can you do me a favor? Look at the buckle sideways. Is the Eagle relief (bulge) as high as your other buckles or more shallow? The shallowness put me off on the one I saw and the green was not right to me.

This is a bad buckle. The catch is wrong and the fold overs are not correct. The tab is also not correct. I do not want to get into the specifics of the details of the areas cited for obvious reasons. Do not buy this.

            Thanks for the replies

Jeff, I do not have this buckle, only saw it on the net, so I am sorry that I cannot do You the favour Youi asked for (or I should be happy, that I am not able to handle this buckle )
