Mdle 44 belt and buckle ???

Hello has anyone ever seen what I was told is a Mdle 44 belt with a werhmacht buckle with Mdle 44 paint (grey/blue)??? I was also told this paint was common to WH and KM at end of war....
The buckle is marked J.F.S near loop at rear...any precision ?

    Thanks for help !

I let others comment the buckle itself but I am going to give you input on the "late war" paint since it is a common issue for items of many branches of the German armed forces, including of course their buckles.
Whoever told you it was a common paint in the last months of the war was correct since this feature (green shade been rather blue than green) has even been printed on paper by official notice during WWII. I cannot comment if it is common, scarce or rare for WH buckles to be painted with it since it is not my field, but what I can say is that there is still many collectors who are labeling regular WH buckles as KM "coastal artillery" buckles just based on this shade.
Few SS buckles even exist with it.

J.F.S is the trademark for Josef Feix Söhne, Gablonz.

Thanks so much Jean Pierre for your detailed answer... which confirms what I had been told !!! I hope other comment will follow concerning authenticity and the association of this buckle and the belt !

I was told the belt is the "economy" type last pattern destined to save on lacking materials... as a matter of fact this belt has no leather band at back to fix the buckle over.

Thanks again for your great help !
