I recently picked this up, this is my first Reichswehr buckle and since I usually focus on wartime stuff it is a little outside my comfort zone. I believe it is real but could not find any other examples with the brass keeper as on this example. The prongs are also brass or another yellow metal, coated with nickel or chrome- the yellow metal is visible at the tips. Any problems with this one? I would appreciate any opinions or comments.

Chris, there is no problem with your piece!
It is a very nice and original buckle wich was used for parades. So rather a privat purchase buckle than a buckle for service.
Will post a similar piece later.
